Flexible Spaces for Every Occasion
Miller Bridge Event Center offers versatile indoor and outdoor spaces designed to accommodate a wide range of celebrations, meetings, and gatherings. With over 13,000 square feet of event space, the venue includes a main ballroom along with several additional rooms ranging from 1,800 to 3,900 square feet, allowing events to be customized to fit your needs.
The venue comfortably accommodates 50 to 150 guests and provides flexible layouts for birthdays, quinceañeras, corporate meetings, conferences, community events, and private celebrations. Outdoor areas overlooking the marsh offer scenic waterfront views, creating a beautiful setting for guests to gather, celebrate, and connect.
Additional amenities include entertainment space, meeting areas, and nearby guest lodging, making Miller Bridge Event Center a convenient destination for both local and visiting guests.

Our History
The Past
During the 1950s and 1960s, in a time when segregation limited where African Americans could gather and celebrate, Peter Miller’s Pavilion became one of the few entertainment and nightclub venues in Charleston County where Black residents could come together for music, dancing, and community. The pavilion served as a vibrant social hub and safe gathering place, playing an important role in the cultural life of the surrounding communities.
In recognition of his lasting impact, Wallace Creek Bridge was officially renamed the Peter Miller Bridge in 2008, honoring his legacy as a respected community leader and pillar of the area.
The Present
Today, a new generation is carrying that legacy forward. In 2024, the space beside the Peter Miller Bridge has been thoughtfully revitalized and transformed into Miller Bridge Event Center, a modern waterfront venue designed to host celebrations and gatherings for the community.
The restored building blends modern fixtures and updated amenities with elements of the original structure, preserving its Lowcountry character while creating a welcoming space for today’s events.
The Future
As the venue continues to grow, Miller Bridge Event Center aims to once again serve as a place where people gather, celebrate milestones, and create lasting memories. With its scenic marsh views and rich local heritage, the space stands as a bridge between the past and the future — honoring the history of the community while welcoming new generations of celebrations.
